The Down The Road Cruisers are a group of folks that are interested in classic and muscle cars. We began in the late 1990's as the Glenside Cruise Club. As time went on that club began to dissolve and some of the original members brought it back to life as the Down the Road Cruisers. At that time we were still a small group but as we began to travel to car shows together and start our own cruise night, more folks wanted to join us. Today we have over 45 members and are still growing. We are a family oriented club and encourage members to bring their wives/ girlfriends and children to cruise nights and other club functions. We welcome all car people to come to our cruise nights on the third Friday of each month between April and October, check us out and if you feel we are right for you, join our club.We also try to help the community and have for a number of years collected food for the Food Bank at the Abington Presbyterian Church, assist the Marine Corps League in collecting money to purchase clothing for the Warrior Relief program. Which supplies clothes to wounded service men and women who are shipped to Germany for treatment and have only the clothes on their back when they land in the hospital.
